AGES: For student entering 2nd through 6th grades
Lights! Camera! Action! Participants will learn camera operation, directing, and editing, as well as writing and acting. The focus will be giving students the tools and skills they need to pursue their passions and interests through film. On Day 1, we start by making music videos, then through the week we'll create other shorts like commercials, trailers, and interviews, as well as a longer narrative film. Students will also learn about how a documentary is made, how to recreate a scene from a TV show or movie and more. Script with other writers, recording good audio, and editing with iMovie. Everyone will have opportunities to try their hand at all aspects of the process in front of and behind the camera.
